Engage in global open science: take part in the Mozilla Science Lab + Software Carpentry sprint
The Mozilla Science Lab / Software Carpentry Global Sprint is nearly upon us! On the 22nd and 23rd July, at over fifteen locations across the globe, people will be working together on one of many ongoing open science projects with like-minded colleagues who care about open data and research.
There's still the chance to participate - simply take a look at the list of sites and contact the local organiser of the most conveniently located one to you. The Institute will be welcoming participants to their Edinburgh site, and our intrepid training lead Aleksandra Pawlik will be collaborating on Data Carpentry course material over in Krakow, Poland. If you can't make it to a site you can still participate remotely, take a look at the FAQ for more details.
