Last chance to register for version control, code analysis and collaborative tools workshop

Posted by n.chuehong on 1 October 2014 - 12:07pm

The Software Engineering Support Centre (SESC) at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory will be running a workshop on 7th October on software tools and techniques.

The workshop is aimed at researchers and students whose role involves writing or maintaining software, including experienced developers and those just starting their projects.

Attendees will learn to use version control systems, code analysis tools, and the features of the CCPForge service such as trackers, which are all vital for collaborative development. They will also gain an understanding of the SESC’s activities, the support it can offer and how it might help them in developing better quality software.

The workshop is free to attend. For further details and to register, please visit: https://eventbooking.stfc.ac.uk/news-events/introduction-to-the-software-engineering-support-centre-and-ccpforge-230
