The Fellows 2016 - announced!

The Institute Fellowship programme 2016 was much sought after with 113 applications. Of those 33 were shortlisted, they were then put through their paces during the face 2 face selection meeting. we now have our Fellows for 2016; 17 of the most promising were chosen to take forward their plans to improve research software and make a difference in their research domains.

Representing domains as varied as Archeology, History, Psychology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Earth Systems, Health, Physics and Social Science the 2016 Fellows represent a huge spectrum of areas touched by the digitial.

We have amongst them PhD students, many post doctoral staff, Lecturers, an NHS Consultant and a Professor!

With plans from conference visits through to workshops and policy initiatives they are ones to watch in 2016; they will be blogging their events and activities on the Institute blog so the wider community will be able to gain from their activities and insights.
