The future of research will rely on harnessing the power of computing, software and data - or e-Infrastructure. The effective use of e-Infrastructure is limited, because many researchers lack the required skills, and the fragmented nature of the e-Infrastructure training community makes it difficult to obtain them. With this in mind, the Workshop for e-Infrastructure trainers brought together trainers from 38 different organisations on 14 August 2013 at the Hartree Centre in Daresbury.
The issues that were investigated at the workshop and the results of the discussions that took place are summarised in the report Outcomes from the workshop for e-infrastructure trainers.
