Have you ever spent hours putting together a resource only to have a colleague point out that there’s something better, prettier and – importantly – already available online? It’s annoying waste of time, and it happens because it’s very difficult to let people know about the good resources out there in the wilds of the internet. Within the world of software and research, we’re trying to solve this problem, and we need some help.

As we come across useful resources, we add them to our resources page. But there’s an awful lot of internet and not a huge number of institute staff, so every now and again, we ask the people who come to this site for their favourite resources. It could be anything: a guide, a video, an interesting article or a blog. It could even be a shameless plug of a resource you created yourself (if it’s any good!).
