Those of you who follow the Institute blog will know that we have run a session entitled What Makes Good Code Good? several times including at the Effective Scientific Programming workshop, Digital Research, Dev8D and INTECOL. At each event, we've led a discussion between participants to identify what they consider the most important characteristics for good code, and compared them against other sessions.

We've applied to run it again at the Mozilla Festival in London - if you'd like to find out what MozFest'ers think makes good code good, then please show your support for our proposal! And if you're in the country, please come along to what looks like a great weekend.
