CHARTED aims to make the training landscape easier to navigate for both new and experienced digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTP). This is being achieved by funding a range of initiatives including community-driven activities and personal development opportunities.
CHARTED is now accepting submissions for the following flexible funds:
- Fund 2: Community Activities (maximum award per activity £5,000)
- Fund 4: Professional Development (maximum award per individual £5,000)
Both funds are open for submissions on a rolling basis. The next deadline for both is Wednesday 15th April 2026. Fund 4 applications will be processed and reviewed every month and Fund 2 applications every two months.
A webinar will take place on Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 12:00 BST during which the team will provide more information about the project and the funds. Interested applicants will also have an opportunity to ask questions. Please register here.
About the project
CHARTED aims to make the dRTP ecosystem easier to navigate for both new and experienced members of the community, to improve the understanding of skills and roles within the space and improve visibility and accessibility of training resources. They want to connect training opportunities with skills, skills with roles, roles with people, and people with people; and develop tools and frameworks to make the ecosystem for professional development easier to navigate.
