One of the core values at The Carpentries is access for all. This includes creating multiple avenues for participation where all people can learn and contribute. The Accessibility Fund will be used by The Carpentries organisation to support access to all of their events, workshops, and trainings. Through this fund, they aim to never deny an accessibility request due to a lack of money.

They launched the fund in June and have raised $1,050 thus far (thank you to those who have donated!). Their goal is $5,000 to provide accessibility services for CarpentryCon

You can donate and share this giving opportunity with your networks: https://give.communityin.org/CarpentryCon?ref=sh_fAVdid_ab_3AYFQ5IrwZn3AYFQ5IrwZn
