CHARTED, a project working to make the training landscape easier to navigate for digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs), has announced two new funds opening for applications, alongside two ongoing funds.
The newly opening funds, with a first deadline of 30 September 2026, are:
These join two ongoing funds:
- Fund 2: Community Activities (rolling deadline on the 15th of alternate months)
- Fund 4: Professional Development (rolling deadline on the 15th of each month)
CHARTED aims to make the dRTP ecosystem easier to navigate for both new and experienced members of the community, improving understanding of skills and roles within the space and the visibility and accessibility of training resources. The project is working to connect training opportunities with skills, skills with roles, roles with people, and people with people, while developing tools and frameworks to support the wider professional development ecosystem.
CHARTED is hosting a webinar on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 15:00 BST, offering more information on the project and its funds, with an opportunity for interested applicants to ask questions. Register here.
