The e-Infrastructure Leadership Council has released an overview of progress in developing and implementing the UK e-infrastructure strategy.
This report provides an overview of the UK’s e-infrastructure strategy as of 2013. It looks at the initial steps towards developing an e-Infrastructure ecosystem. It describes the technological developments that we must exploit to promote innovation and ensure UK competitiveness. It describes current e-infrastructure, including the government’s investments in this since 2011. It looks at recent developments and areas to consider in the future to develop the UK’s e-infrastructure.
It highlights three technological developments:

- New Computing Architectures
- Model Evolution
and the landscape:
- Resource Infrastructure
- Software
- Cyber Security
- Training and Skills
- Awareness and Adoption
- Management and Governance
