The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is inviting applications for new members to join its Strategic Advisory Teams (SATs) across nine themes, including resilience and security, clean energy, engineering, healthcare, ICT, research infrastructure, sustainable manufacturing, mathematical sciences, and physical sciences.

Vacancies are open to individuals from academia, industry, government, and the third sector, at all career stages. Appointments run for two years from April 2026, requiring a commitment of up to 10 days per year. Members receive an attendance fee plus travel and subsistence, applicable for both in-person and virtual meetings. EPSRC particularly encourages applications from women, minority ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and those from across all UK regions, as part of its ongoing commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
