FAIR-IMPACT has announced two new workshops in their FAIR Implementation Workshop series which will take place on Thursday 4 April and Tuesday 14 May:
The French Data Management Clusters workshop will take place on Thursday 4 April at 10:00-12:00 CEST.
At national level, the French Ministry of Research has developed a platform: Recherche Data Gouv (RDG). It has been designed to support research teams in their work of structuring data to make it easy to find, accessible, interoperable and reusable, in other words, in line with the "FAIR" principles. The workshop will present the French data management clusters that aim to be close to research teams so they can provide researchers with initial expertise in rational research data management.

The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) is a group of organisations that work on harmonising the assessment of research. It takes into account practices and activities that maximise the quality and impact of research. It involves basing assessment primarily on qualitative judgment, for which peer review is central, supported by responsible use of quantitative indicators.
This two-hour workshop will focus on the topic of research assessment to help the selected candidates draft their FAIR implementation action plan by taking into account the research assessment aspect.
Find out moreThe FAIR Implementation Workshop series aims to help three key stakeholders - Research performing Organisations, Repositories and Data Service Providers, and National Level Initiatives - to become familiar with FAIR-enabling tools, approaches and methods. Each workshop will last a maximum of 90 minutes and include plenty of time for questions and discussion. Registration is free and open to all.
