HDR UK launches survey about Technical Roles in Health Data Science

HDRUK logo, survey boxes, waves

Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) is inviting professionals working in technical roles within health data science to participate in a short survey aimed at shaping the future language used to describe their work.

Developed by the HDR UK Technician Commitment Working Group, the survey aims to better understand the technical community’s preferences regarding the terminology used to describe technical roles in health data science.

The survey will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete. It's aim is to build an evidence base that can guide our future use of terminology and ensure it aligns with the community’s views on umbrella terms used to describe their roles. While it will not impact existing job titles, the insights gathered will help ensure that the terms used in future communications and initiatives reflect the views and experiences of those in the field.

The survey is anonymous, but participants will have the option to stay connected by signing up for the HDR UK Training newsletter at the end.
