The Science and Technology Facilities Council are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Scientific Computing Department within their Software Engineering Group.

Hours: Full time or Part time (minimum 22hrs per week)

Minimum Salary: £38,318

You will join our team developing and delivering data management solutions for the scientific facilities that we support: primarily the Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, and Central Laser Facility, all based at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.

You will work alongside service managers and DevOps engineers to maintain, improve and further develop the data management software solutions, engaging with scientists and engineers within the scientific facilities to ensure that the services provided meet their needs and continue to evolve to meet their future needs.
