We are looking for a software development expert who is passionate about communicating their expertise to researchers.

The successful applicant will use a broad range of technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to develop close working relationships with cutting-edge researchers from around the UK and work with them to evaluate and enhance their research software. In addition, the applicant will create training materials and deliver courses on software development to researchers throughout the UK.

The position is a fixed term contract ending on 31st May 2015. The successful candidate will be based at the University of Southampton in the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering. The salary range is £27,578 to £33,884, dependent on experience.
