Posted by s.hettrick on 20 June 2012 - 12:01pm

Microsoft and Amazon will be participating in SeIUCCR's forthcoming e-infrastructure summer school. The registration closing date has been moved to the 10 July 2012.

The SeIUCCR project is pleased to confirm that both Microsoft and Amazon will be participating in the forthcoming SeIUCCR Using e-infrastructure for Research summer school that will take place in Abingdon on the 13–16 August.

Both Microsoft and Amazon will participate in the Cloud Computing focused day, please see the agenda for full details of the summer school. Microsoft will be demonstrating Microsoft Windows Azure and Amazon will be demonstrating their Amazon Cloud. The summer school provides an excellent opportunity for any UK researcher who is considering using any of these services in the future to learn more.

In order to accommodate this late change in the agenda, the closing date for the summer school has been extended to Tuesday 10 July at 9am. Full details of the summer school and details of how to register can be found on the event page on the NGS website. Please note that attendance for the full course is compulsory.
