The EOSC-A Board has opened a call for applications for its renewed Task Forces, covering the 2027–2028 mandate period. Qualified experts from across the EOSC community, particularly representatives of EOSC-A membership, are invited to apply via the online form by 30 September 2026, 23:59 CEST.
The call follows the Board's endorsement of a streamlined structure of five Task Forces, replacing the current EOSC-A Task Forces as their mandates end in 2026. Each is defined by a dedicated Charter setting out its scope, membership and areas of work:
- Quality, Trust, and Sovereignty of Data
- Health Data
- Semantic Interoperability
- FAIR Data and AI
- Long-Term Data Retention and Reusability
Since 2021, the Task Forces have advised the Board on strategic matters, drawing on expertise from across the EOSC community. The new cohort takes shape as discussions on Europe's next framework programme culminate and the EOSC Federation enters operations, reflecting priorities emerging from the forthcoming SRIA 2.0 and a review of existing Task Forces alongside Opportunity Area Expert Groups.
