Shape the future of the UK National Grid Service

Posted by n.chuehong on 19 January 2012 - 1:45pm

The JISC has appointed Sero Consulting Ltd to undertake a review of the National Grid Service (NGS) to assess the business options for sustainable services. The review, which will report in mid-February, will support the development of a business model and will determine in what areas the NGS may have to change to meet expectations of researchers and other stakeholders.

The consultants will be gathering information through stakeholder interviews, a targeted online survey and two concluding workshops.

The NGS would like to invite members of the UK HE community who have experience of the NGS or of research computing more generally - whether as users, managers or interested stakeholders - to partake in the survey to help shape the future of the NGS. The survey will be open from Wednesday 18 January to Friday 3 February. It should take 6-10 minutes to complete and the information you supply is protected under the Data Protection Act; it will remain anonymous and will only be included in aggregated statistics.
