The Software Sustainability Institute is proud to support The Turing Way, a community-driven open science project that empowers researchers and fosters collaboration. As The Turing Way seeks continued funding, we’re calling on the research software community to help strengthen its case for future support.
The Turing Way relies on funding to maintain key roles such as the research community manager, project manager, and senior researcher who ensure the project’s smooth operation and community-led direction. Funding also enables the organisation of valuable activities such as Book Dash, Weekly Collaboration Cafés, and Fireside Chats, as well as participation in conferences and essential infrastructure maintenance.
Additionally, future funding will allow The Turing Way to expand its support for volunteer-led Working Groups and prioritise areas currently beyond institutional funding.
