Software's role in reproducible research: who should be involved?

Posted by s.hettrick on 24 January 2014 - 9:53am

Software is often overlooked in the debate about reproducible research. This is an omission that we want to address by bringing together everyone who has a role in ensuring that software contributes to reproducible research. You can help by suggesting people or groups that should be involved in those discussions - or joining in yourself.

In March, we will run a workshop that brings together software developers, researchers, publishers, policy makers and funders. We want your suggestions for individuals and for groups that we should invite. What's more, if you think there are subjects that should be addressed at our workshop, we want to hear about them too.

You can let us know by email or by Twitter (@SoftwareSaved #SoftRepro).

The workshop takes place on 26-27 March 2014 in Oxford. More information and registration details can be found on the workshop webpage.
