The Technology Strategy Board to invest in novel approaches to multi-disciplinary software development

Posted by s.hettrick on 25 June 2013 - 10:38am

The Technology Strategy Board is looking to invest in new multi-disciplinary approaches to software development.

Along with the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Technology Strategy Board is looking to invest up to £1m in feasibility studies to stimulate the development of new multi-disciplinary approaches to software development.

The Technology Strategy Board is also looking to invest up to £500,000 to establish new Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) in multi-disciplinary software design, to enable UK businesses to draw on the latest research in this area. In addition, the Arts and Humanities Research Council will consider co-funding projects if they involve arts and humanities academic disciplines.
