Registration is open for the 2019 LIR seminar, which will be held on Friday 6 December in Cork City, Ireland.
The theme centres around the impact of AI on librarianship and scholarship.
“We have gathered international experts in the field to discuss the various facets of this important subject,” said David Kane, Head of Systems and Electronic Resources at the Luke Wadding Library, Waterford I.T.
“I would encourage all librarians, scholars, teachers, and managers to attend. There is no doubt that this will profoundly affect what we do in our jobs in the short term and the long term.”
The day-long event will be held in the CIT School of Music. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
