Ed-DaSH logoWe are delighted to announce Ed-DaSH, a Data Science training programme for Health and Biosciences funded by UKRI at the University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with The Carpentries.

The workshops are targeted at UK-based bioscience workers at any career stage. They are fully funded by UKRI, we ask for a small returnable deposit to book a place.

Ed-DaSH is now advertising online workshops in 2022 on topics:

  • Open science, FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable), and data management.
  • Statistics: Basic and intermediate statistical skills, high-dimensional statistics, Machine Learning.
  • Computational workflows: Conda, Nextflow and Snakemake.

Ed-DaSH is committed to inclusive workshops, where diversity is respected and everyone can learn. To this end, we would like to encourage anyone who is interested in our training to get in touch with us directly to discuss how we can facilitate their participation.

Please see the full workshop program, descriptions, and how to register.

Please contact us at ed-dash@ed.ac.uk or on twitter @EdDaSH_Training, with any questions about the workshops that are not covered by the Ed-DaSH webpage or individual workshop pages.
