An article in Scientific Computing World by our Deputy Director, Simon Hettrick, argues for changing the traditional roles we expect to see in a research group.
We need software: it’s an integral part of modern research across all disciplines. However, harnessing the opportunities that software provides, whilst conducting reliable research, requires the influx of new skills.
