Calling all digital Research Technical Professionals at the University of Manchester

University of Manchester digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs) are invited to attend an in-person workshop on Friday 16 January. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other dRTPs, hear about dRTP roles and career development at UoM, and discuss and strategise how UoM can better support dRTP roles (including Research Software Engineers, Data Stewards, Data Engineers, Platforms Engineers).

The workshop aims to bring together dRTP at UoM to hear about the variety of dRTP roles and the work being done to professionalise these careers internally and externally. The second half of the day we will connect and workshop together to better organise and define the dRTP community's needs at UoM.

Post-workshop we will produce a report to send to senior leaders at UoM to highlight the dRTP community's professional needs at UoM.
