Do you use spreadsheets to conduct your research? Have you recently started coding or want to learn? Would you like some help from a dedicated trainer? We’d like to hear from you!

As part of our Research Software Camp: Beyond the Spreadsheet, we’re looking for volunteers who are new to coding and would like to develop their skills. We’re looking for anyone from any discipline or any level of experience. 

If you decide to help, you’ll be paired with an expert that will guide through this journey. In return, we would like you to write about your reasons for learning to code and your experience of working with us.

The Software Sustainability Institute will run its Research Software Camp: Beyond the Spreadsheet from 1 to 12 November. The Camp will focus on the uses of spreadsheets in research and first steps into further use of software in research. Our online events and resources will collate different perspectives, experiences, and best practice of the use of spreadsheets, as well as signpost to existing resources.
