Today, the Software Sustainability Institute (SSI) launches its much-anticipated Research Software Camp: FAIR Software, with a kick-off event focusing “How to publish FAIR research outputs”, a talk by Eirini Zormpa, Community Manager for the AI for Multiple Long-Term Conditions Research Support Facility (AIM RSF), at The Alan Turing Institute. In the next few days, we’ll be hosting introductory courses to Python and R (sold out!), and the first of the Byte-Sized RSE sessions on Collaboration and Code Review (few places left — register now).

The Research Software Camps (RSCs) aims to teach introductory skills, empower researchers with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop and maintain software, and provide guidance and resources around the topic of FAIR software.

About the Research Software Camps

The Research Software Camps are hosted online over the course of two weeks, and they’re completely free to access. If you’re a researcher who uses software in research, and have only started coding, you know how to code but would like to learn more, or have no idea where to begin or how to move forward with what you already know, the sessions and resources at the Camp are for you!
