As part of the SSI’s Research Software Camp: Beyond the Spreadsheet, we’re calling for blog post and/or guide proposals. 

Do you have any tips to share for people who use spreadsheets in research? Do you think spreadsheets can be a powerful tool in research data management? Are you proficient in a particular tool or language and would like to share your expertise? Have any other ideas for content that can help the community using spreadsheets in their research? Then reach out and write for us!

If accepted, your piece will be featured in our popular blog as part of the Research Software Camp during the first two weeks of November 2021. 

If you already have an existing guide or blog post that is relevant to the use of spreadsheets in research, please get in touch as we’d love to either repost it or include it in our list of useful resources.

The SSI runs free online Research Software Camps twice a year over the course of two weeks. Each Camp focusses on introducing and exploring a topic around research software, thus starting discussions among various research communities.
