We are glad to announce that SSI co-investigator and professor of computer science at the University of Manchester Carole Goble has been included in Research.com's Ranking of Best Scientists in the field of Computer Science and received the Computer Science Leader Award for 2023.

We're delighted to report that one of the Software Sustainability Institute's Co-Investigators, Professor Carole Goble, has been made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the recent New Year's Honours.

The award is in recognition for her services to science, and we have benefitted greatly from her knowledge and experience at the Institute.
